Madeline Salter - Dancer
Madeline Salter is a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader (DCC) and a third-year veteran featured in the 2023 Netflix docuseries *America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders*. A fifth-generation Texan from Round Rock, Texas, she began dancing at age six and competed from age 12. Her mother, Shannon Hall Salter, was a DCC in the 1980s, and her father, Michael, was a cinematographer for the Cowboys, meeting her mother during a USO trip. Madeline’s father passed away after a mental health struggle during her 2022 season and sadly her mom just passed on too.She attended Oklahoma City University, majoring in dance performance, and performed with the OCU Pep Dancers. Madeline joined DCC in 2021 after auditioning in 2019 and has since become a fan favorite, known for her resilience and powerful performances, including the iconic "Thunderstruck" routine. She works in scheduling at an orthodontist’s office and is active in charitable work.
